Jonathan Moo (PhD, University of Cambridge) is Professor of New Testament and Environmental Studies at Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington. He holds graduate degrees in wildlife ecology as well as biblical studies, and he has published a number of essays and books on Christianity and ecology, including Creation Care: A Biblical Theology of the Natural World and Let Creation Rejoice. He serves on the board of the Christian conservation organization, A Rocha USA and is President of Friends of Faraday, a 501(c)(3) that supports the work of the Faraday Institute for Science and Religion in Cambridge, UK. Other than teaching, writing, and frequent public speaking, he spends much of his time exploring the mountains of the Northwest and helping his wife Stacey grow food in their backyard garden.
